Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box for Pokémon TCG

On December 3, 2020, the Pokémon company announced that they would be releasing an expansion of their Trading Card Game – the Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box. The company hopes that this new release will be available to the public by early next year, 2021.

As you may know, the Hidden Fates expansion was released in 2019 following the popularity of the Pokémon TCG.

With the current expected release, the company detailed that there will be 100+ Shiny Pokémon on beautifully etched cards. These will include seven Pokémon VMAX, nine additional Shiny Pokémon V, and the collectible Shiny Charizard as well.

Moreover, this new expansion comes with three additional Pokémon. And each of the three inclusions will feature a Mythical or Legendary Pokémon. These three new additions will be vividly illustrated with rainbow backgrounds, which will extend beyond the frame.

Additionally, this expansion will allow the Trainers to play with fan-favorite and competitive Pokémon TCG cards. This will be enabled by the 30+ Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX from the Sword and Shield Series of this card game.

The Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box

This is one of the most anticipated releases in a while. That’s because it gives you a chance to unveil a Shining destiny. As you may know, the Shiny Pokémon are almost never seen and are rarely caught. That’s because they are extraordinary and lucky are the Trainers who get the privilege of capturing some.

·       And a collector’s Box for holding everything together

The Availability of the Trading Cards Expansion

According to the company, most Cards from the Shining Fates set will be ready and available by 19^th February, 2021. However, there are those that will still come out at later dates.

So, the following is the variation in availability dates of the new release.

Shining Fates Tins – This will be available on 19^th February, 2021. It features 6 Shining Fates booster Packs, and an additional foil promo card. The promo card comes with Eldegoss V, Cramiramorant V, or Boltund V.

Shining Fates Elite Trainer Box – Like explained earlier, this will also be available from the 19th of February, 2021. It’s a real booster pack with 10 Shining Fates and a foil promo code featuring the Pokémon VMAX, among other inclusions.

Shining Fates Collection – Also termed arms the Pikachu V, this will also be available from 19^th February, 2021. It will come with three Shining Fates booster packs and a corresponding pin, among other gaming accessories as well.

Shining Fates Mini Tins – The dates shift a bit when it comes to the release of this set. That’s because the Mini Tins are supposed to be available from March 5, 2021. Like the other sets, this too will have gaming accessories, including one metallic coin and two Shining Fates booster Packs.

Shining Fates Premium Collections – Last but certainly not least on the availability list are the Shining Fates Premium Collections. These will also be available from March 5, 2021.

The Shining Fates Premium Collections will feature seven Shining Fates booster Packs, and the following promo card variations:

·       One foil promo card with Shiny Dragapult or Crobat V.

·       One foil promo card featuring one foil oversize promo card with either a Shiny Dragapult VMAX or Shiny Crobat VMAX.

Lastly, you’ll also get one corresponding metallic coin with this new release.
